Macintosh Extensions Manager If you are having problems accessing your TCP, PPP dialer or modem then you may need to check to make sure that they are both present and enabled in the Extensions Manager. It is easy to do. Just click the apple icon and point to the control panels to get to the extensions manager as shown below. <next>
Make sure that there is a checkmark turning "on" the modem, TCP/IP and whichever version of the PPP or Remote Access dialer is installed on your Macintosh. Note: There may also be a "disabled" version of control panels covering stuff that is disabled. You need to be in the "enabled" control panels folder.
