No Internet Setup Assistant? Don't worry . . . If you can't find the Internet Setup Assistant, this does not point to problems with the system software. If you can't find it then the best thing to do is to skip the ISA and move directly to configuring (1) your "dialer" (FreePPP, PPP or Remote Access) and (2) your TCP. The ISA is just a wizard to simplify the process. On Mac OS 8.1 and above, open the Control Panels menu in the Apple icon menu. Look for either 'PPP' or 'Remote Access'. All systems using 8.5 or higher should have 'Remote Access' and this is the recommended dialer software to use. Both PPP and Remote Access look almost identical so there should be no problem configuring them. All the basic necessary options are right there on it's main window. Plug-in the username, password and phone number. Don't worry about the options button. Quick Links:
